M.A.C Cosmetics - Supply Chain Tour

Partnered with Plastics for Change on Earth Day 2023 through the "Back-To-M·A·C" takeback program to reduce plastic waste.

This enables the collection over 550,000 pounds of plastic (equivalent to 12.5 million bottles) from India’s coast.

Supported approximately 200 plastic collectors and their communities with social services for a year.

In 2024, M·A·C’s brand influencers and Viva Glam Ambassador Bhumi Pednekar visited the aggregation center in Mangalore, participated in waste segregation, and collected plastic waste from streets and oceans.

Bhumi Pednekar joined a beach cleanup drive during the visit.

On Earth Day 2024, M·A·C announced 100% proceeds from their iconic lipstick would support Plastics for Change.
