JOB TITLE : Manager - EPR Sales
LOCATION : Remote/Hybrid
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Manager - EPR Sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and sound knowledge of the EPR credit system in India. Experience working for recyclers, converters, or brands managing their EPR portfolio is essential. This role involves generating leads, creating a pipeline for sale of EPR credits, closing deals and ensuring fulfilment through the delivery team. It also involves upselling recycled plastic raw material to relevant brand partners.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in EPR sales, preferably within the plastics recycling industry
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
In-depth understanding of the EPR credit system in India.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Skills
Proficiency in different CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong networking skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Lead Generation:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the EPR and recycled plastic space.
Generate leads and closing sales deals.
Maintain and update the client database, tracking interactions and follow-ups.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
Provide clients with detailed information about the EPR credit system and the benefits of partnering with Plastics For Change.
Tailor sales presentations and proposals to meet the specific needs of each client.
EPR Credit System Expertise:
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the EPR credit system in India.
Stay updated with the latest regulations, trends, and best practices in the EPR sector.
Advise clients on compliance and best practices related to EPR.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with internal teams including marketing, operations, and finance to ensure seamless service delivery.
Collaborate with the sales manager to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.
Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and client interactions.
Cross-Selling:
Cross-sell EPR credits to existing and potential clients.
Support the sales team in upselling additional services and products to clients.
