JOB TITLE :   MERN Stack Developer

REPORTS TO :   Chief Operations Officer (COO)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled MERN Stack Developer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in front-end app development, architecting, and building Javascript-based applications/websites.

DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, architect, and build MERN stack applications

  • Work alongside experienced backend developers and contribute frontend skills

  • Capable of managing databases and servers

  • Skilled in consuming third-party APIs and using the data to build custom dashboards.

  • Able to prepare checklists and set standards for project delivery and public releases

  • Committed to seeing a project through from conception to finished product.

  • Desire to continuously improve and build and add new features in years to come

  • Continuously staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

  • Comfortable with working in a dynamic startup environment

Required Skill Sets

  • MERN - Must have strong knowledge of developing applications using MERN stack .

  • ReactNative - Having development experience with ReactNative is important

  • Architecting database structure - Strong knowledge required.

  • APIs - Strong knowledge in integrating third-party APIs to the application

  • GraphQL - Will be an added advantage

  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc

  • Strong in problem-solving and communication, actively engaging with stakeholders and providing quick feedback and solutions.

    General responsibilities

  • Ensure professionalism at all times and demonstrate exemplary prioritization of workload skills.

  • Ensure that the PFC policies, SOPs and protocols are being adhered to at all levels of the company.

  • Ensure strict adherence to data confidentiality and security.

  • Willingness to travel frequently across PFC site locations, sometimes at short notice, including other places as per need of project or the company.

  • Work closely with the PFC team and Partners.
