SENIOR ASSOCIATE - ACCOUNTS
Position Overview
The Senior Associate – Accounts is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial reporting processes. This role involves handling accounts payable/receivable, reconciling statements, assisting in audits, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Accounting
Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
Process and review accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial records regularly.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Compliance & Auditing
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Assist in tax filings, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Process Improvement & Support
Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and internal controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial planning and reporting.
Work on financial software and ERP systems to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software ( Tally, Zoho Books..
Skills in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
